SS-EV51 – Lightweight Damping & Insulation

SS-EV51 is a lightweight, high-performance damping material designed to reduce vibration, resonance and unwanted noise without adding unnecessary weight to the vehicle. With a total thickness of 5 mm and a low-weight layered construction, it provides effective damping and sound insulation in a single material.

Its combination of butyl rubber, EPP beads and 100 micron aluminium foil helps control panel vibration while keeping overall weight significantly lower than many traditional thick damping solutions. This makes SS-EV51 especially well suited for electric vehicles, sports cars and lightweight builds where every added kilogram matters.

The single-layer design simplifies installation by combining damping and sound-insulating properties in one sheet. A strong butyl layer provides secure adhesion to the surface, while the flexible construction makes the material easy to shape and apply across doors, floors, roofs, luggage compartments and other vehicle panels.

Each pack contains ten 500 × 320 mm sheets, providing a total coverage of 1.6 m².
